What's the coolest nature thang you ever saw in person? I once saw a hawk snatch a squirrel off the ground and it was fucking awesome. I also saw a rattlersnake coil up and shake at me before I killed it with a rifle.

One time I saw what I later found out was ball lightning (I thought). Then I found out ball lightning was a myth. Then later it was proven to actually exist. But given the extreme lack of facts about it, it seems phenomenally unlikely that's what it was.

ReplyDeleteAnd one time on Horn Island I saw the green flash. And I've seen a double 360-degree rainbow.
